Dr. Jacob Zittoun
An interventional radiologist specializing in interventional oncology, treatment of venous insufficiency in the lower limbs, prostate artery embolization, and other pelvic embolizations in Jerusalem.
He studied medicine and radiology at the University of Paris and completed his residency at Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris (Interventional Radiology Department of Prof. de Kerviler). After his residency, he further specialized in interventional oncology radiology at renowned institutions such as the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris (under Prof. de Baere) and the new Civil Hospital in Strasbourg (under Prof. Gangi).
In addition, he holds a diploma in interventional radiology in oncology (2021) as well as a certificate in clinical and therapeutic hypnosis (2018) from the University of Paris. The techniques acquired in hypnosis help reduce pain during interventional radiology procedures.
In 2020, he made Aliyah to Jerusalem, and since then, he has been working in the interventional radiology department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he also specializes in endovascular techniques.
He has developed expertise in the treatment of venous insufficiency in the lower limbs, prostate embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, varicocele treatment, pelvic vein embolization, and hemorrhoid treatment.*
